Entrepreneurship happens by trial and error. Sometimes you are immensely motivated and other days, you have to drag yourself through the day. And that is completely normal! Entrepreneur Cindy Van Dyck also experiences the pressure of entrepreneurship at times. Fortunately, she recently discovered a lot of great Netflix series that motivated her to get back to it!

Show up as the woman you need to become to reach

your goals.

#1 Selling Sunset

Selling Sunset is an American reality television series created for Netflix. The series revolves around the Oppenheim Group, a high-end real estate brokerage firm in the Los Angeles area, and follows a group of agents as they navigate their personal and professional lives.

In the program, you see several successful women in the most stunning designer outfits. They are each chasing their dreams on their own, or together. So nothing is too big and nothing is impossible! And just that vision and outlook on life, to chase what their heart desires, is hugely motivating! Because if they can achieve their goals, why can’t you?

#2 Bling Empire

Like Selling Sunset, Bling Empire is all about luxury. However, this series is with a focus on the lives of wealthy, materialistic East Asian and East Asian-American socialites based in the Angeles area, described as real-life Crazy Rich Asians. And not realtors. But if you can look through all the fashion brands, expensive parties and pay attention to the mindset of these enterprising young people, you’ll also get a lot of motivation out of this series!

#3 My Unorthodox Life

My Unorthodox Life is an American television miniseries that centers on Julia Haart, the CEO of a modeling agency and fashion company and a former ultra-Orthodox Jew, as Haart and her family acculturate to their new non-religious lifestyle in Manhattan.

In addition to Julia and her family’s commitment to promote an independent and inclusive world, this series also shows how the women in the family support each other through everything. How personal relationships are put number one every time and the importance of knowing your own value. And last but definitely not least, My Unorthodox Life also discusses the world of influencing and the LGBTQIA+ community.

#4 Singapore Social

Singapore Social is an unscripted docuseries that follows the lives of young successful Singaporeans as they defy expectations and traverse the tricky terrain of career, romance and family. The series is mostly filmed in Singapore and briefly, Los Angeles.

In this series, you will see a lot of similarities to Bling Empire. So it is recommended that you watch it after you finish Bling Empire.

The best thing about all these series is that the episodes are short (30 to 40 minutes), which is perfect if you want to binge-watch. So grab your favorite popcorn or snack, and watch these great motivational series together with your friends or just by yourself!

Be sure to let us know which one was your favorite.
