The wedding of your dreams deserves the perfect invitation. For this you can rely on Silke from Dasi. She translates your dreams onto paper. In this way, she is immediately part of one of the big milestones in your life.
It all start with a very long conversation
Silke is very good at listening and reading between the lines. Personal contact is key. As a couple you are invited to her studio for a long, in-depth conversation. It is the perfect moment to discuss what your wishes are and see some other examples (just for inspiration). If you already have some ideas in mind, this conversation will help you to make it more clear. Silke asks many questions (some are even very unexpected) during that initial session.
“Every wedding is unique, which is why each deserves a unique approach.
We don’t work with ready-made designs.
We always start with a white sheet of paper.”
Sometimes inspiration comes from an unexpected source. Hobbies may contain elements that can be translated into the design. A special location can also provide inspiration. If drawing and painting are necessary to create the unique image of your dreams, Silke also makes these herself. First by hand, then digitally processed.
“One time, the centuries-old ceiling paintings of an Italian palazzo were the basis for a wedding invitation in the form of a travel passport. I painted the frescoes and the palace completely in order to make the atmosphere of the party palpable. This way the guests were already warmed up for the beautiful party.”
Not just the invitation
At Dasi you can go for more than just the invitation. You can put the whole package in Silke’s hands: from save the dates, invitations, matching envelopes with closing stickers and personalized wax seals, to welcome signs, menus, name cards, table names, mass books, thank you notes and so on. Anything that can contribute on a graphic level to make the day of your dreams come true, we can create.
A beautiful design is of course nothing without a quality print. For this she works together with different printers, each with their own specialty. The best part is when it can be just that little bit more; letterpress, foil stamping, velvet etc… Nowadays there are many beautiful and luxurious techniques that take the design to the next level.
Wedding Industry Award
Dasi has won a WIA, the Wedding Industry Award for best Graphic Designer in the wedding industry in Belgium twice in recent years. She has also been a regular on House of Weddings for many years, the platform that bundles quality vendors in the industry to inspire couples for their big day.
