We’ve got some exciting news to share! H&M home brings out yet another designer collaboration. This year’s designer is no one other than Diane Von Fürstenberg.
The only rule for home decoration is for the decor to reflect who you are
Diane Von Fürstenberg is a very influential Belgian- American fashion designer. Her designs are usually based on nature. She makes them smaller or larger and sometimes changes the colours but the prints are always in motion. She is famous for her unique approach to shades and designs what makes her an iconic and well-know woman.
“When I was growing up, I didn’t know what I wanted to do,
but I knew what kind of woman I wanted to be.
Growing up she was unsure about what to do but she always knew what type of woman she wanted to become. And she became that woman because of a dress. It was all because of that dress that made her feel powerfull and in charge. And that is the reason that she designs for the woman in charge. The iconic designs that she uses in her clothing line are now transformed into unique interior pieces that you can decorate your home with.
The Colourful Series
We can make a distinction between two small series in this collaboration of which the colourful serie is one. This time she used bright pink and joyful orange shades which are perfect to add some vibrancy and colour to your home. The famous pink and orange paterns are seen on various products such as scented candles, pillows, blankets, boxes and vases.
The Black and White Series
The other collection she has designed is composed of more darker shades. She used her famous and nature-like patterns in the colours black and white that also cover various items such as the colourful items for example scented candles, pillows, boxes etc.
My secret wish for the collection is that one of the pieces will hide
in the intimacy of your life and your home. And when you look at it,
it will wink at you and you will think of me,” says Diane von Furstenberg.
She brought the two opposites together in one collection. Combining the darker and brighter shades in to one diverse and playful collection.
The entire collection can now be found in selected H&M Home stores and online as from the 16th of April. Note: the collection is only available in selected countries.
