We all crave an evening off in our busy lives to recharge our batteries. But sometimes an evening among people doesn’t fully calm us down. That’s why it can be surprisingly refreshing to do an activity without having to leave your house. Is it a beautiful evening outside and don’t you want to waste it? Then use these tips to turn your balcony into a cinema in no time and enjoy a relaxing evening without any worries.

Eat, sleep, cinema
and repeat.

Collect your favorite snacks

What’s an evening at the movies without snacks? We all know it; we defy the long queue for an overpriced popcorn box that’s almost gone before the movie starts. If you have a nice movie night at home, this is no longer a problem. Collect all your favorite snacks and drinks, fill them up as often as you like without paying extra for them.

Make it cozy

If we’re honest, nowhere is better than at home, the hard cinema-seats where it is impossible to lie comfortably stretched out, confirm this only too well. Get your softest pillow to pop down in and cover yourself with an extra-large plaid when it gets colder. To finish it off, you can use beautiful mood lighting to make the evening extra cozy. Do you lack enough sockets? Then use solar lamps, which store sunlight during the day and create a beautiful glow when you want to enjoy your balcony.

The screen

It’s practically impossible to have such a gigantic screen as in the cinema, but with this tip, you can still make the best of it. Use a white shower curtain on a curtain rod to create the perfect movie screen. If you don’t have one, you can always let your creativity loose. White papers with thumbnails or an old sheet are the ideal replacements. Is everything set to go? Then all you have to do is turn on the projector to enjoy your film. Of course, not everyone has a projector available, but if you think about it for a moment, watching a movie on your laptop in the open air is an equally fun experience.

No bugs allowed

When we say: the more, the merrier, of course, we don’t mean the annoying mosquitoes that buzz around your ear all the time. Finish your balcony cinema by hanging a mosquito net around it, or place some citronella candles. Thanks to these tools, you can keep insects away and create an extra cozy atmosphere. Two birds with one stone if you ask us.

We hope that with these great tips, we’ve convinced you to do things differently than usual. Especially in these times, it’s necessary to think out of the box to have a fun activity still, and we at Blogzine try to do everything we can to help you with that.
