We see new makeup trends every now and then. This also makes room for a lot of makeup enthusiasts that are coming out with weird and sometimes totally crazy techniques. This year’s beauty trends are not different from the years before.
In a world of trends, be timeless
In a world of social media, we can see a lot of useful trends, but some people can take it to the next level. Some of these trends can be used on the runway, for example the bleached brows trend done by a lot of runway models like Gigi Hadid and Cara Delevingne on the Prada runway in 2019. Or it can be used by people in their day-to-day life. It’s all a personal choice!
Bejeweled Eyeshadow
One of the weirdest beauty trends that was inspired by the actress Alexa Demie, on the new Hulu series Euphoria, is the bejeweled eyeshadow. We now see a lot of beauty guru’s hopping on this trend, like James Charles and Nikki tutorials. You can do this trend with as many eyeshadow colors as you want, as long as you finish the eye look with rhinestones.

Soapy Brows
One of the most used trends in the beauty world, are the soapy brows. This trend is often used by women and girls. Also Madison Beer is fan! People nowadays want a more lifted face and fox eyes, to look fiercer. And these brows will help to create that look!

Fox Eyes
Fox eyes are basically for people who want to have fox eyes, just kidding. They actually want more lifted eyes. And believe it or not, some people take it a step further to get under the knife for the ‘perfect’ eyes. This surgical procedure is called ‘Canthoplasty’.

The Eyebrows Slit
This beauty trend is personally my favorite. Even though the eyebrows slit are the weirdest trend you can currently find on the internet.
How it’s created? People cut a little at the ends of their eyebrows. This gives them a more edgy look, inspired on the 80s and 90s.

Red Lipstick, Please!
The last trend, to complete this list of (weird) beauty trends, is the red lipstick blush techniques. This trend is used by creators who are placing red lipstick on their cheeks, foreheads and noses. And afterwards using a thick layer of foundation.
This trend is to try and create a rosy and slightly flushed look. If you use this trend, keep it in mind that red lipstick can clog the pores, which can cause acne.

If you can rock any of these trends with confidence, then go for it! At the same time we’re very curious to find out which trend you really love. Share it in the comments and let us know if you tried some yourself!
