Going out for late brunch or cozy lunch on your day off? We all love it! And luckily, this doesn’t always have to mean a huge amount of sugars or carbs on your plate. This month we are focussed on all things healthy, but next month is all about Belgian Hotspots. And Cindy is therefor sharing her favorite places in Belgium where you can enjoy a delicious and healthy brunch.

Breakfast is a meal, but brunch is a culture.

The Avocado Show – Brussels

The most recent place I discovered is also the first one I introduce to you: the Avocado Show in Brussels. Located in a small side street of Avenue Louise, you will find the most delicious dishes here. From salads to breakfast, toasts and pancakes: whatever you desire, they have it. You can even order cocktails there with a hint of avocado.

Address: Rue Jean Stas 6, 1060 Sint-Gillis

LIEF – Mechelen

Do you love supporting local entrepreneurs? And do you also support the concept of a short chain? Then you can come to LIEF in Mechelen. In fact, they work together merchants in the neighborhood, including a bakery, and serve you daily delicious freshly made dishes. LIEF literally means ” kind “. So be kind to your body and also to life!

Address: Graaf Van Egmontstraat 5, 2800 Mechelen

Crème – Brussels

Brunch all day, every day? You can at Crème in Brussels. Located on a side street of the beautiful Sablon you will find this fun brunch spot and Angelo and I have been fans of it for years! Our favorites are without a doubt their Acai bowl, the peanut butter toast made of sourdough bread with banana and almonds, and the avocado toast. It’s delicious!

Address: Rollebeekstraat 30, 1000 Brussels

Goodie Foodie – Antwerp

Do you love pancakes but may it be something different from the classic versions with fruit and chocolate? Then stop by Goodie Foodie in Antwerp soon. Their small but super cozy establishment is located a few minutes’ walk from the Groenplaats. You can go here for pancakes with chicken and hummus, avocado and salmon, mushrooms and eggs, and so on. Of course, you can also go there for the sweet versions, bagels, toasts and eggs! Your tummy will be well-filled either way.

Address: Leeuwenstraat 23, 2000 Antwerpen

For the month of September, you could discover new articles each week on the theme of health. Of course, we will continue to inspire you often on this topic. But get ready for October if you are a lover of eating out! Because you will discover even more great Belgian hotspots. See you soon!
