Givenchy presents a completely new ‘Eau de parfum’ for men. The new fragrance is a variation on the classic Givenchy Gentleman. Our Man Cave editor Angelo sat down with Givenchy during the launch and tells you his opinion.
The Gentleman Givenchy line offers a new vision of elegance that combines daring and delicacy since 2017. In 2020, the appeal of Gentleman Givenchy will be enhanced by an unprecedented fragrance: Gentleman Givenchy Eau de Parfum Boisée, a new interpretation of the range that does full justice to the sensual side of Gentleman. Sounds good, doesn’t it?

Just as the previous 3 creations, Givenchy invited master perfumers Nathalie Lorson and Olivier Cresp to compose this eau de parfum. These notes can be found in the new Givenchy Boisée:
Top notes: black pepper, coriander, geranium
Middle notes: iris, cedarwood, cacao
Base notes: sandalwood, patchouli, burning wood
Angelo’s thoughts: “I’ve always been a fan of perfumes with a wooden undertone. They immediately feel a lot more masculine and powerful. The fresh, floral notes you get here are an absolute bonus. It also makes the eau de parfum suitable for daytime use.”
Timeless tailoring
The famous Givenchy Gentleman bottle finds its origin in a classic Givenchy design. The shapes of the bottle are simple and therefore elegant. The design is timeless.
The brand has given a new dress code for Gentleman Givenchy Eau de Parfum Boisée. After pure white and tuxedo black, the new glass bottle is tinted brown, while the band takes on a woody appearance marked by gold-toned writing.
